A self-made designer who turned a lifelong fascination with European interiors into one of India's most distinctive design studios.
Khushboo Anas founded The French Studio in 2018 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. With a background in biotechnology — holding a B.Tech and an M.Tech — her transition into interior design was driven entirely by passion, curiosity, and an unrelenting eye for detail.
Her design philosophy draws deeply from the warmth and restraint of European homes: the way light falls on plaster walls, the weight of hand-carved furniture, the quiet luxury of materials chosen to age beautifully. She translates this sensibility into spaces that feel both worldly and rooted in Indian craftsmanship.
What sets Khushboo apart is her hands-on involvement at every stage — from initial concept and space planning to overseeing the in-house manufacturing workshop that produces every custom piece the studio designs. This end-to-end control ensures that no detail is delegated away from her vision.
